\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cProperty Management Sector Annual General Meeting for the Financial Year 2024\/2025\u201d<\/strong><\/p>

On Wednesday, 11th<\/sup> February 2026, the Property Management Sector Shared Board of Directors (Board) convened the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Public Enterprises (PEs) under the Sector i.e. Tonga Asset Managers & Associates (TAMA) and Tonga Market Corporation Limited (TMCL) for the Financial Year 2024\/2025 which was held at the TAMA Board Room, TAMA Head Office, Small Industries, Ma\u00fafanga,<\/p>

The AGMs were chaired by the Shareholder representative and Minister for Public Enterprises, Hon. Siaosi \u00d3fa ki Vahafolau Sovaleni, accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Public Enterprises, Dr. Fotu K.V. Fisi\u00edahi, and other senior staff of the Ministry.<\/p>

During the respective AGMs, presentation of the PEs audited financial statements, operational highlights and challenges for the financial year, demonstrating resilient performance and continued contributions to Tonga\u2019s economic development, were done by the CEO and Deputy CEO for TAMA \u2013 Mr. Tevita Hu\u00e1kau and Ms. Mele Fetu\u00fa, and the CEO for TMCL \u2013 Mr. Kepueli \u00cdoane.<\/p>

TAMA announced a strong financial outcome for the financial year with a Net Profit after Tax (NPAT) of $1,217,671 and formally declaring dividend equivalent to 25% of its NPAT i.e. $304,418. TMCL also reported a positive financial performance with a NPAT of $226,854 and declared 50% of their NPAT as dividends i.e. $113,427.<\/p>

The Government Shareholder acknowledged the Board, Management, and staff of both TAMA and TMCL for their dedication and stewardship throughout the FY 2024\/2025 and encouraged continued sustainability, asset optimization, and service excellence in the current financial year.<\/p>
